THE MOVIE

From Louisa May Alcott comes this passionate story of forbidden love and dangerous rivalry in 18th century New England.  Beautiful orphan Edith Adelon lives as a paid companion to the wealthy Hamilton family’s daughter, Amy.  When Edith falls in love with an eligible bachelor (Thomas Gibson, TV’s Criminal Minds)—visiting to court a Hamilton cousin, Ida (Brigid Brannagh, TV’s Army Wives)—she struggles to make sense of her position within the Hamilton household and society, her loyalty to her patrons, and her love for a young man she’ll never marry.  Also starring three-time Emmy Award nominee Meredith Baxter.

New Bible Studies Start on MONDAY!

Just a quick reminder that our new Fall Bible Studies will begin THIS Monday evening, October 24th.  We will meet at 7.  The 'Your Girl' group will meet in the conference room and the "Duty or Delight' group will meet in the sanctuary.

If you haven't signed up yet and want to be a part, please click on the 'comments' tag below and let us know.  For those of you who already have your books, read Chapter 1 so that you'll be ready to discuss it on Monday.  However, don't let not reading it keep you from coming.

We will have childcare available, just let us know that you need it.

SDWSC -- Week 8

This Monday, October 17th, we will study Lesson Six: What If We All Did What We Could? Be sure to read pages 69-72 before you come...but don't let that keep you from coming if you don't have a chance to read!

This will be our last night of SWDSC.  Join us next week in your choice of study...
If you need childcare, please contact the church office, call Melanie or leave a comment here by Monday afternoon so that we can make sure that we have an appropriate number of workers with the kids.
