Fall Bible Study--Seeking Him

"Are you tired of trying to be a good Christian? Are you overloaded and worn out with church activities? Do you sometimes feel as if you're just going through the motions of the Christian life? Do you often find yourself running on empty spiritually? Do you experience heaviness or shame more than joy and freedom in your Christian life? If you answered YES to any of these questions, then perhaps God is calling you to something deeper. Maybe you're ready to experience personal revival!"

This is the introduction written by Nancy Leigh DeMoss in the book we'll be studying from for this Fall's Ladies' Bible Study - "Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival." Please come join us!

Woman2Woman Mentoring Ministry

The Woman2Woman mentoring ministry at Cornerstone Church provides one-on-one mentor/mentee relationships designed to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of the women in our church providing the opportunity to establish relationships to fulfill the biblical model of women guiding other women in their Christian walk. Women are paired together in a six-month relationship where they may share their struggles, experiences, prayer, bible study, and fellowship with a goal of deepening their relationship with God and providing a safe environment for lives to be changed and hearts to be healed.

Saturday - September 18th - 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

All Women are Welcome

Come and learn how as a mentor you can use your life experiences and walk with God to encourage and assist another woman!
or
Come and learn how as a mentee you can be encouraged and supported in your Christian walk by another Christian woman!
or
Come and learn both!

There is a new opportunity for the women of Cornerstone Church to experience the joys and blessings of encouraging each other in a woman to woman relationship.
Join us for the Orientation Coffee/Tea and we will share with you how you can become a participant in this ministry.

SMT Verse #11

September is upon us, and I don't know about you, but I am longing for the cooler weather!  As we get back into the swing of things after a fun summer, I pray that each one of us will make our time with our Creator a priority.  One way to have His Word with you at all times is to have some of it memorized!  That is why we are committing to be a part of this team...a team that is working together to memorize two verses a month.  If you've struggled with this over the summer, jump back in.  Don't be discouraged!  If you haven't officially joined in with us, I encourage you to do so.  It really helps to know that your sisters are here to encourage you and hold you accountable. =)

I've chosen a passage from the book of Psalms this time around.  Sometimes I just need a reminder of who I am and Whose I am.

"In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be ashamed; in Your righteousness deliver me. Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; be to me a rock of strength, a stronghold to save me.  For You are my rock and my fortress; for Your name's sake You will lead me and guide me."
Psalm 31:1-3 (NASB)

Now it's your turn to leave a comment with your chosen verse, reference and Bible version.  If you want to learn more about our Scripture Memory Team, you can leave a comment or go here to read more about it.
