The verses I have chosen to memorize this time around are found in Colossians 1. They are two verses that we are asked to memorize for our Bible study..."That I May Know Him". It is Paul's prayer for the church in Colossae and my prayer for our study group and for me. I truly do want to walk in a manner worthy of my Savior.
"For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."
Colossians 1:9-10
Let me know what you have chosen to be your final verse for this one year commitment. And let me encourage you to keep this commitment going. It is so important to hide His Word in our hearts. I think I'll use the next couple of months to refresh these 24 verses so that I don't forget them. Then I'll start adding to my list again. It has been an honor to be on this journey with you. Let's continue pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the the upward call of God in Christ Jesus! (Phil 3:14)

Wow! The final one! I can't believe it. Thank you Brittany for being faithful in posting. It has really encouraged me to be faithful to memorize. I go over my verses when I walk in the mornings and I'm so thankful for the ability to have God's word along with me so I can exercise my mind and heart along with my body. It has truly been a privledge.
This time I am memorizing another verse reminding us that God really wants to reveal Himself to us.
"The Lord confides in those hwo fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them." Psalms 25:14 (NIV)
Thanks again Brittany for the challenge. I pray we will all continue to hide God's word in our hearts. I will miss the reminder however;-)
