True Woman Conference 2010
Great news for those interested in going to the True Woman '10 Conference. If we get 10 ladies to register, we will get a group discount. Instead of $129 for the 3 days, we will be able to get our tickets for $99! Another great thing is that we already have 7 signed up, so we only need 3 more!!! Check out the link on the left for all the info about the conference.
This group rate is only available for a limited time, so contact Melanie at 972-712-4000 or info@cornerstoneplano.org to let her know that you are interested in going with our group. She will also be able to answer any questions that you may have. We would love to have you join us as we are called to be the women God created us to be!

SMT Verse #2
Today's the 15th of April, and it's time to start on our second memory verse. I pray that your thought life is already changing as you are hiding His Word in your heart.
If you haven't gotten your first verse completely memorized, don't give up! Keep reading it every day...even if it isn't memorized word for word, you are getting His word in your head which can help drive out the lies that like to run around in there.
If you are just learning about the team, come on and join us now! You can go here to find out more about what we are doing as well as sign up. We (and HE) would love to have you on our team!!
I am going to memorize Isaiah 33:6 this time around. I've been having a hard time deciding what version to use so it may kind of be a combo of two. I love it in the NET version, but I also like the last line in the NASB. Anyway, I've chosen this verse because I need the reminder that He is in control when my world seems to be spinning out of control.
"He is your constant source of stability; He abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; He gives all this to those who fear Him." Isaiah 33:6 (NET)
"the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure." (NASB)
Now it's your turn. Leave a comment with your name, your verse, and the version. You can also let us know why you've chosen that verse if you'd like. If you are having a hard time choosing what verse to memorize, feel free to use mine or any of the team verses from this time around or last. That's not cheating! Just don't let the decision...or lack of one become a snare that keeps you from continuing on your steps to our goal of 24 verses. Our enemy would like nothing better. So, pick a verse and get it in your head so that it can change your heart! Next time you see me, ask me to tell you my first verse...I'll be sure to do the same to you. =) Let's hold each other accountable and continue to encourage each other as we take the first couple of steps in this incredible journey.
